Types of Evaporators
Evaporation pilot unit

Complete system: preheating tank, heat exchanger, evaporator tubes, motor, etc.

Integrated pilot unit for single-stage thin-film evaporation or two-stage evaporation with short-path evaporator.

1st stage: Preheated material enters the vacuum thin-film evaporator; low-boiling components evaporate, condense and are collected.

2nd stage: High-boiling concentrate is either collected directly or fed to a short-path evaporator. Medium-boiling components condense internally, separating from high-boiling residue.

Continuous operation supported by material transfer pumps.

Thin Film Evaporator (Vertical)
Suitable for various operating conditions including evaporation, solvent recovery, concentration, and desolventizing

Feed and distribution: The material enters through the top feed port and is thrown by a rotating liquid distributor, evenly spreading onto the inner wall of the cylinder.

Liquid film formation: Driven by the scraper agitation, a uniform liquid film is formed on the heated inner wall.

Evaporation and concentration: The liquid film absorbs heat from the jacket heating medium (steam, thermal oil, etc.), causing rapid evaporation of the solvent and concentration of the material.

Separation and recovery: The vaporized light components are condensed and liquefied in an external condenser, achieving separation.

Applicable materials: Suitable for the separation of heat-sensitive and high-boiling point products.

Short-Path Evaporator
Technical Adavantages

Built-in vertical multi-pass tube bundle condenser, located at the center of the evaporation cylinder;

Shortens the vapor path, allowing vapor molecules to condense directly and reducing backflow;

Enhances mass and heat transfer, achieving an operating pressure as low as 0.001 mbar.

Thin-film evaporator skid-mounted unit. Fully assembled at the Nagamori production workshop, including piping, instrumentation, and equipment;

In-plant operation and testing;

The modular design significantly reduces the workload required for assembly and startup, shortens construction time, and ensures the product quality of the evaporation module.

Application in Methyl Methacrylate

1. Extremely short material residence time. By optimizing the rotor and heating section, the material evaporates instantly and quickly leaves the high-temperature zone;

2. Excellent vacuum sealing performance, capable of maintaining a high vacuum level;

3. The scraper spreads the material into an extremely thin turbulent liquid film, enhancing heat transfer while preventing drying and fouling;

4. Full heat tracing of the piping, with temperature control slightly above the boiling point to prevent backflow and polymerization.

Short-Path Evaporator
Application in Polytetramethylene Ether Glycol

1. Single-section cylinder structure, reducing sealing surfaces and lowering leakage risk;

2. Helium vacuum leak testing to ensure extremely low leakage rates;

3. Equipped with a laser tracker to detect the straightness of the cylinder and rotor, meeting precision requirements;
